Our team travels, competes, and wins. More importantly, our kids learn what it feels like to put yourself out there and rise to it.
What tournaments look like
A few times a year we load up and head to regional competitions. Kids compete in forms, sparring, and weapons divisions against students from other schools across the region.
Some kids come back with gold around their neck. Some come back with a tough loss and a lesson. Both are wins. That's the point.
Parents come too. The Saturdays away turn into team trips, pizza dinners, and a lot of cheering. It's some of the best stuff we do.
How kids join the team
The competition team is invite-only. Once a student shows they're ready, Mr. H talks to the family about jumping in. There's extra training, a little extra commitment, and a lot more fun.
